This Privacy Policy explains how Lionwood Studio LTD ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Color Analysis: PaletteMe mobile application ("App").

Color Analysis: PaletteMe is a mobile application that helps users discover personalized color palettes, analyze appearance-related color characteristics, receive outfit and color recommendations, and explore personal styling suggestions using artificial intelligence and color analysis technologies.

By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.


1. Who We Are

2. What Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide, improve, and secure the App.

2.1 Account Information

If you create an account or sign in to the App using Apple ID or Google Sign-In, we may receive basic account information such as:

  • name;
  • email address;
  • profile identifier;
  • authentication token or user ID;
  • profile photo, if provided by the sign-in provider.

When using Sign in with Google, Google may share your name, email address, and profile picture with the App after your permission. Google does not share your password with third-party apps.

2.2 Photos and Images

To use the App's color analysis features, you may choose to take, upload, or select photos from your device. These photos may include your face.

We use selected photos only to:

  • analyze appearance-related color characteristics;
  • extract color information relevant to personal color analysis;
  • generate personalized color recommendations and palettes;
  • provide outfit color combinations and styling suggestions;
  • enable clothing color scanning and compatibility analysis;
  • display previews and results within the App.

Important

  • We do not store your photos on our own servers.
  • We do not use your photos for advertising.
  • We do not sell your photos.
  • We do not use your photos to train our own artificial intelligence models.
  • Your original photos remain stored locally on your device unless you choose to export or share them elsewhere.

Your selected photo is processed locally in the App to extract color-related information. The original image is not sent to Google Gemini API.

Only extracted color information and related analysis data required to provide recommendations may be processed through artificial intelligence services.

2.3 Appearance-Related Color Characteristics and Analysis Data

To provide personalized recommendations, we may process and store appearance-related color characteristics derived from your photos and interactions with the App.

This may include:

  • extracted skin color information;
  • extracted eye color information;
  • extracted hair color information;
  • undertone analysis (such as warm, cool, or neutral);
  • seasonal color type recommendations (such as Spring, Summer, Autumn, or Winter);
  • contrast level analysis;
  • generated color palettes;
  • clothing color compatibility results;
  • outfit color combinations and styling suggestions;
  • saved scans and color-matching history;
  • saved favorites or preferences.

We store this information in Firebase to provide your personalized experience, allow access across sessions and devices, restore results, and improve App functionality.

We process this information solely to provide personal color analysis and styling-related functionality.

We do not use this information to identify you as a specific person.

2.4 AI Processing Data

When you use AI-powered features, the following information may be processed:

  • extracted color values and appearance-related characteristics;
  • color analysis inputs and recommendations;
  • prompts or structured instructions required to generate results;
  • clothing color scan information;
  • onboarding preferences and styling goals;
  • generated recommendations and responses;
  • technical request, security, and abuse-prevention data.

The original uploaded photo is not sent to Google Gemini API.

Only extracted data relevant to color analysis and recommendations may be processed by Google Gemini API through Firebase AI Logic.

We use Google Gemini API solely to provide requested App functionality.

According to Google's applicable Gemini API terms for Paid Services, Google does not use prompts, associated files, or responses to improve its products, although Google may temporarily log limited data for safety, abuse prevention, legal compliance, and security monitoring.

2.5 Onboarding and Preference Information

To personalize recommendations, we may collect information you choose to provide during onboarding or while using the App.

This may include:

  • style preferences;
  • wardrobe preferences;
  • fashion interests;
  • clothing goals;
  • lifestyle preferences;
  • personal color or styling interests;
  • saved selections and favorites.

We use this information to personalize recommendations and improve your experience.

2.6 Subscription and Purchase Information

The App is subscription-based.

Payments are processed by the Apple App Store and/or Google Play. We do not collect or store full payment card details.

We may receive and process subscription-related information, such as:

  • subscription status;
  • purchased product;
  • transaction identifier;
  • renewal status;
  • trial status;
  • cancellation status;
  • App user ID.

We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and purchase status.

2.7 Device, Usage, and Diagnostic Data

We may collect technical and diagnostic information through Firebase and similar tools, including:

  • device type and operating system;
  • App version;
  • crash reports;
  • performance data;
  • general App usage events;
  • country or region based on technical information;
  • device identifiers used for analytics, diagnostics, account functionality, fraud prevention, or security.

We use this information to:

  • improve the App;
  • detect and fix bugs;
  • understand feature usage;
  • maintain App stability;
  • prevent fraud, misuse, or unauthorized access.

2.8 Customer Support Data

If you contact us, we may collect:

  • your email address;
  • your name;
  • message content;
  • screenshots or files you choose to send;
  • technical information required to resolve your request.

3. How We Use Information

We use information for the following purposes:

  • to create and manage your account;
  • to provide personalized color analysis;
  • to generate color palettes and recommendations;
  • to analyze clothing colors and compatibility;
  • to provide outfit color combinations and styling suggestions;
  • to personalize recommendations using onboarding preferences;
  • to process extracted color-related information through AI services;
  • to manage subscriptions and restore purchases;
  • to improve App performance and functionality;
  • to fix bugs and crashes;
  • to provide customer support;
  • to prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized use;
  • to comply with legal obligations.

4. Photos, Color Analysis, and AI Processing

The App may process photos that include a face in order to provide personal color analysis.

We do not use facial recognition technology to identify you as a specific person.

We do not create biometric profiles for identification purposes.

We do not use photos or appearance-related color information for authentication, tracking, surveillance, or advertising.

We do not use photos to train our own artificial intelligence models.

We do not store uploaded photos on our own servers.

Photos remain on your device unless you choose to export or share them.

Only extracted color-related information needed to generate recommendations may be processed through Google Gemini API via Firebase AI Logic.

If we introduce a new third-party AI provider in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and request any legally required permissions before sharing personal information with that provider.


5. Third-Party Services We Use

We use third-party services to operate, maintain, and improve the App.

These may include:

Google Gemini API

Used for AI-powered color recommendations, palette generation, outfit suggestions, clothing color compatibility analysis, and related recommendation functionality.

The original uploaded photo is not sent to Google Gemini API. Only extracted color-related information, onboarding preferences, prompts, and structured inputs needed to provide recommendations may be processed through Google Gemini API via Firebase AI Logic.

This service is provided by Google LLC and/or Google Cloud/Firebase.

Firebase

Used for authentication, analytics, crash reporting, performance monitoring, Firebase App Check, Firebase Remote Config, Firebase AI Logic, cloud storage of user analysis data, account-related functionality, and technical infrastructure.

Firebase may store:

  • appearance-related color characteristics;
  • generated palettes and recommendations;
  • saved outfit combinations;
  • scan history;
  • onboarding preferences;
  • account-related settings and saved preferences.

RevenueCat

Used for subscription management, purchase validation, and entitlement management.

Apple

Used for Sign in with Apple, App Store distribution, in-app purchases, and subscription management.

Google

Used for Google Sign-In, Google Play distribution, in-app purchases, and subscription management.

These third parties may process information according to their own privacy policies, terms, and applicable data processing agreements.

We require service providers that process user information for us to provide an equal or comparable level of privacy protection required under applicable law and App Store Review Guidelines.


6. No Advertising

The App does not currently display third-party advertisements.

We do not use advertising networks such as AdMob, Meta Audience Network, TikTok Ads, AppLovin, or similar advertising services.

We do not sell personal information for advertising purposes.

If this changes in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required by law, request consent or provide additional privacy choices.


7. Push Notifications

The App does not currently use push notifications.

If we introduce push notifications in the future, we may use them to send:

  • App-related updates;
  • new feature announcements;
  • subscription reminders;
  • personalized recommendations;
  • outfit or styling suggestions;
  • other relevant App information.

You will be able to manage notification permissions through your device settings.

We will update this Privacy Policy before or when such functionality becomes available.


8. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information with:

  • service providers who help us operate and maintain the App;
  • Google Gemini API through Firebase AI Logic for AI-powered recommendation functionality, but only when required to provide requested App features;
  • Firebase for authentication, cloud storage, analytics, diagnostics, security, and technical services;
  • RevenueCat for subscription and purchase management;
  • Apple and Google for App Store payments and account sign-in functionality;
  • legal authorities where required by law or legal process;
  • professional advisers, including legal, accounting, and compliance providers;
  • another company in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, or sale of business assets.

We do not share personal information for advertising purposes.


9. Data Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as necessary to provide the App and fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Photos

  • We do not store uploaded photos on our own servers.
  • Photos remain stored locally on your device.
  • You can delete them at any time from your device.

Appearance-Related Analysis Data

We may retain:

  • extracted skin, hair, and eye color information;
  • undertone and seasonal type recommendations;
  • contrast analysis;
  • generated palettes;
  • saved outfit combinations;
  • scan history;
  • saved preferences and favorites;
  • onboarding information.

This information may be stored in Firebase while your account remains active in order to provide a personalized experience and restore recommendations across sessions.

AI Processing Data

When extracted color-related information is processed through Google Gemini API via Firebase AI Logic, Google may temporarily process or log limited information for safety, abuse prevention, legal compliance, and security monitoring according to Google's applicable terms.

Account Data

Account information is generally:

  • kept while your account remains active;
  • deleted or anonymized after account deletion, unless we must retain limited information for legal, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, or security reasons.

Subscription Data

Subscription-related information may be retained as long as necessary to:

  • manage subscriptions;
  • restore purchases;
  • resolve disputes;
  • comply with tax or legal obligations.

Analytics and Crash Data

Analytics and crash reports may be retained for a limited period according to our service providers’ retention settings and operational requirements.

Support Messages

Support communications may be retained as long as necessary to respond to your request and maintain business records.


10. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, misuse, disclosure, loss, or alteration.

These measures may include:

  • secure cloud infrastructure;
  • authentication protections;
  • Firebase App Check and abuse prevention systems;
  • restricted access controls;
  • encryption where appropriate.

However, no electronic transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.


11. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live.

This may occur because we use international service providers such as Google, Firebase, RevenueCat, Apple, and Google Play services.

Where required by applicable law, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.


12. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • access your personal information;
  • request correction of inaccurate information;
  • request deletion of your personal information;
  • object to or restrict certain processing;
  • request a copy of your information;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

13. Account Deletion

You may delete your account using the in-App account deletion option, if available, or by contacting us at:

When your account is deleted:

  • account-related information may be deleted or anonymized;
  • stored recommendations and preferences may be removed;
  • certain limited information may be retained where required for fraud prevention, security, accounting, tax, or legal compliance.

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription.

Subscriptions must be managed separately through the Apple App Store or Google Play.


14. Subscription Cancellation

If you purchased a subscription through Apple, you can manage or cancel it through your Apple ID subscription settings.

If you purchased a subscription through Google Play, you can manage or cancel it through your Google Play subscription settings.

We cannot directly cancel subscriptions purchased through Apple or Google on your behalf.


15. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe that a child under 13 has provided personal information, please contact us and we will take reasonable steps to remove such information.


16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, notify users through the App or other reasonable means.

Your continued use of the App after the updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means that you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
