This Privacy Policy explains how Lionwood Studio LTD ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Makeup Plus mobile application ("App").
Makeup Plus is a mobile application that allows users to apply makeup-related effects and generate makeup-style results using artificial intelligence.
By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. What Information We Collect
We collect only the information needed to provide and improve the App.
2.1 Account Information
If you create an account or sign in to the App using Apple ID or Google Sign-In, we may receive basic account information such as:
- name;
- email address;
- profile identifier;
- authentication token or user ID;
- profile photo, if provided by the sign-in provider.
When using Sign in with Google, Google may share your name, email address, and profile picture with the third-party app after your permission. Google states that it does not share your Google Account password with the third party.
2.2 Photos and Images
To use the App's makeup generation features, you may choose to take, upload, or select photos from your device. These photos may include your face.
We use these photos only to provide the requested makeup-related result, validate that the selected image is suitable for makeup generation, display previews, and save looks locally on your device when you choose to save them.
Important:
- We do not store your photos on our own servers.
- We do not use your photos for advertising.
- We do not sell your photos.
- We do not use your photos to train our own artificial intelligence models.
- Your original and edited photos are stored locally on your device unless you choose to share, export, or save them elsewhere.
When you tap the button to apply makeup, your selected photo is sent to Google Gemini API through Firebase AI Logic for AI processing and generation of the makeup-related result.
2.3 AI Processing Data
When you use AI features, including AI-powered makeup generation and AI or machine-learning face detection or image validation, the following data may be processed:
- the photo selected by you, which may include your face;
- the image file type or MIME type;
- text prompts or makeup instructions needed to generate the makeup result;
- face-detection and image-validation data, such as whether a face is present, the number of faces detected, face position, face size, face angle, visible facial landmarks, and similar suitability signals;
- technical request, security, and abuse-prevention data required to process and protect the request, including data handled by Firebase AI Logic, Firebase App Check, and Google;
- the generated image response.
When processing requires a third-party AI service, this data may be sent to Google Gemini API through Firebase AI Logic. Face detection or image validation may also be performed on your device when supported.
We use Google Gemini API only to provide the requested AI-powered makeup functionality.
According to Google's applicable Gemini API terms for Paid Services, Google does not use prompts, associated files such as images, or responses to improve its products, although Google may log prompts and responses for a limited period for abuse monitoring, safety, security, and legal purposes.
2.4 Subscription and Purchase Information
The App is subscription-based.
Payments are processed by the Apple App Store and/or Google Play. We do not collect or store your full payment card details.
We may receive and process subscription-related information, such as:
- subscription status;
- product purchased;
- transaction identifier;
- renewal status;
- trial status;
- cancellation status;
- app user ID.
We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and in-app purchase status.
2.5 Device, Usage, and Diagnostic Data
We may collect technical and diagnostic information through Firebase and similar tools, including:
- device type and operating system;
- app version;
- crash reports;
- performance data;
- general app usage events;
- country or region based on technical data;
- device identifiers used for analytics, diagnostics, or account functionality.
We use this information to:
- improve the App;
- detect and fix bugs;
- understand feature usage;
- maintain app stability;
- prevent fraud or misuse.
2.6 Customer Support Data
If you contact us, we may collect:
- your email address;
- your name;
- message content;
- screenshots or files you choose to send;
- technical information needed to resolve your request.
3. How We Use Information
We use information for the following purposes:
- to create and manage your account;
- to provide makeup generation and editing features;
- to send selected photos to Google Gemini API for AI processing;
- to manage subscriptions and purchase status;
- to restore purchases;
- to improve app functionality and performance;
- to fix bugs and crashes;
- to provide customer support;
- to prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized use;
- to comply with legal obligations.
4. Photos, Face Data, and AI Makeup Processing
Makeup Plus may process photos containing a face in order to generate makeup-related results.
- We may use AI, machine-learning, face detection, or image validation to check whether a selected photo contains a suitable face for makeup generation.
- Face detection or image validation may analyze face presence, face count, face position, face size, face angle, and visible facial landmarks.
- We do not use photos to identify you as a specific person.
- We do not create a biometric profile for identification.
- We do not use face data for authentication, tracking, or surveillance.
- We do not use face detection data for advertising or to train our own artificial intelligence models.
- We do not store before/after photos on our own servers.
- Generated results are stored on your device unless you choose to save, export, or share them.
- When you choose to apply makeup, your selected photo, makeup instructions, and related image-validation data may be shared with Google Gemini API through Firebase AI Logic to validate the image and generate the result.
- If we add a new third-party AI provider for face detection, image validation, or makeup generation, we will update this Privacy Policy and request any required permission before sharing your personal data with that provider.
5. Third-Party Services We Use
We use third-party services to operate the App.
These may include:
Google Gemini API
Used for AI-powered image and makeup generation, and may be used for AI-powered face detection or image validation. When you choose to apply makeup, your selected photo, image file type, makeup instructions, image-validation data, technical request data, and generated response may be processed by Google Gemini API through Firebase AI Logic. This service is provided by Google LLC and/or Google Cloud/Firebase.
Firebase
Used for authentication, analytics, crash reporting, app performance monitoring, Firebase App Check, Firebase Remote Config, Firebase AI Logic, and related technical functionality.
RevenueCat
Used for subscription management, purchase validation, and entitlement management.
Apple
Used for Sign in with Apple, App Store distribution, in-app purchases, and subscription management.
Google
Used for Google Sign-In, Google Play distribution, in-app purchases, and subscription management.
These third parties may process information according to their own privacy policies and applicable data processing terms. We require service providers that process user data for us to provide the same or equal level of protection described in this Privacy Policy and required by applicable App Store Review Guidelines.
6. No Advertising
The App does not currently show third-party ads.
We do not use advertising networks such as AdMob, Meta Audience Network, TikTok Ads, AppLovin, or similar ad platforms.
If this changes in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required, request consent or provide additional privacy choices.
7. Push Notifications
The App does not currently use push notifications.
If we add push notifications in the future, we may use them to send app-related updates, subscription reminders, feature updates, or other relevant notifications. You will be able to manage notification permissions through your device settings.
We will update this Privacy Policy before or when such functionality is introduced.
8. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share information with:
- service providers who help us operate the App;
- Google Gemini API through Firebase AI Logic for AI processing, but only when you choose to apply makeup and send the selected photo, makeup instructions, and related image-validation data for validation and generation;
- Firebase for analytics, diagnostics, authentication, and technical services;
- RevenueCat for subscription management;
- Apple and Google for app store payments and account sign-in;
- legal authorities if required by law;
- professional advisers where necessary for legal, accounting, or compliance purposes;
- another company in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets.
9. Data Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Photos:
- We do not store your photos on our own servers.
- Photos and generated results are stored locally on your device.
- You can delete them from your device at any time.
- When photos, prompts, image-validation data, and generated responses are sent to Google Gemini API through Firebase AI Logic, Google may process and temporarily log them according to Google's applicable terms for safety, abuse monitoring, security, and legal compliance.
Account data:
- kept while your account remains active;
- deleted or anonymized after account deletion, unless we need to keep limited information for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons.
Subscription data:
- kept as long as needed to manage subscriptions, restore purchases, resolve disputes, and comply with legal or tax obligations.
Analytics and crash data:
- kept for a limited period according to our service providers' retention settings and our operational needs.
Support messages:
- kept as long as needed to respond to your request and maintain business records.
10. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live.
This may happen because we use international service providers such as Google, Firebase, RevenueCat, Apple, and Google Play services.
Where required by applicable law, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.
12. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

- request correction of inaccurate information;
- request deletion of your personal information;
- object to or restrict certain processing;

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. Subscriptions must be managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on where you purchased the subscription.
14. Subscription Cancellation
If you purchased a subscription through Apple, you can manage or cancel it through your Apple ID subscription settings.
If you purchased a subscription through Google Play, you can manage or cancel it through your Google Play subscription settings.
We cannot directly cancel subscriptions purchased through Apple or Google on your behalf.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, notify users through the App or other reasonable means.
Your continued use of the App after the updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means that you accept the updated policy.
